Sisterhood

"...and to bring into living reality the sisterhood of women..."

This quote comes from the Symphony, the open creed of Alpha Xi Delta. Sisterhood is the foundation behind all we do as Alpha Xi Deltas and the reason we have all come together in our fraternity. We share a unique bond which can never be broken. 

Many Alpha Xis went through recruitment looking to join a sorority, but will tell you that they found a family instead. They found shoulders to cry on, friends to celebrate with, and lifelong love. So whether you come from Metairie or Manhattan, you will always have family at the University of New Orleans.

To strengthen this bond, we have monthly sisterhoods and events where we develop a relationship that no one from the outside can understand. From attending volleyball games to sisterhood retreats, these special times remind us why it is so sweet to be an Alpha Xi.
